Microgreens are young vegetable greens harvested just after their first leaves develop. They’re small but mighty — packed with concentrated nutrients, vibrant color, and fresh flavor. Microgreens are often used to boost salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and even garnish dishes.

Absolutely! Microgreens can contain up to 40x more nutrients than their mature counterparts. They’re rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K, as well as antioxidants, amino acids, and beneficial enzymes. Many customers use them for immune support, digestion, energy, and clean eating.

Microgreens are incredibly versatile:

• Toss into salads or wraps
• Add to smoothies (great with wheatgrass, sunflower, or broccoli)
• Garnish soups or entrees
• Top avocado toast, eggs, or grain bowls  

Sprouts are fantastic for:

• Sandwiches and wraps
• Stir-fries and noodle bowls
• Light, crunchy salad mixes

Most microgreens and sprouts stay fresh for 7–10 days when kept refrigerated in their original packaging. For best flavor and nutrition, enjoy them within the first few days of purchase.

While we are not certified organic, we grow all of our microgreens and sprouts using organic practices from start to finish. We use non-GMO seeds, and nearly all of our varieties are heirloom, preserving the integrity and flavor of traditional plant genetics. We also strive to source USDA Certified Organic seeds whenever available. Our crops are grown in organic ProMix soil with no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or chemicals — just clean, nutrient-rich greens you can feel good about.

We grow all our microgreens in organic ProMix, a high-quality growing medium made from natural, sustainable ingredients. It provides excellent drainage and root support without synthetic additives, ensuring clean, nutrient-dense greens. 

Yes! We use GoodGuard™ Tamper Evident Compostable Clamshells from Good Start Packaging. These containers are made from PLA (plant-based plastic) and are fully compostable in commercial facilities — giving you peace of mind that your purchase supports a cleaner planet.

Ordering is easy:

1. Choose your package or specialty bundle from the SHOP page
2. Customize your box weekly via text or email
3. Order at least 2 weeks in advance so we can grow your greens fresh (most take 10–14 days to grow)
4. Pickup or delivery available in Yulee and Fernandina Beach. 
5. Payment options: Cash or Venmo. Credit Card payments coming soon!

At Anthem Acres, we’re proud to deliver fresh, local produce right to your doorstep. We offer free delivery on orders over $40 within a 10-mile radius of our farm. For orders under $40 or outside the 10-mile radius, a flat $10 delivery fee applies. 

Of course! Subscriptions are flexible with no long-term commitment. Just give us a heads up the two weeks prior and we’ll adjust your order.

Individual visits are by appointment only, but we love having guests! Reach out to schedule a tour, pickup, or a field trip.

Yes! We love sharing our farm with the community. Schools and small groups can schedule a field trip to:

• See how microgreens are grown
• Meet our animals — including kune kune pigs, Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and turkeys
• Learn about farming, sustainability, and healthy food choices  It’s educational, interactive, and a favorite among students and teachers alike!
